The current issues of pollution and climate change have got everyone talking about the environment and have increased public concern about the possible consequences of mistreating the environment.
Thetextile industry has become the second most environmentally damaging manufacturing activity. In Spain alone, 930 tons of fashion waste are generated each year and 92% is incinerated. In addition, due to COVID-19, 1,710 tons of disposable masks are manufactured every month and 100% will be incinerated or end up in landfills.
Bäloop was founded as a result of this desperate situation,a company committed to the environment that seeks real solutions for the tons of textile waste.

Bäloop is a pioneer in the development of B-One, a 100% recycled plastic material made from textile waste.
We recover textile waste mainly destined for incineration. We are a key reference in the sustainable market, reintroducing waste back into the industrial value chain and generating a circular economy in the textile sector.
We obtain environmental as well as social and economic benefits, which makes Bäloop a triple-impact company.

The textile industry makes a deep impact on the environment because of the disproportionate volume of waste it produces.
The fashion textile sector generates waste that is very heterogeneous in its colour and mix of materials and is currently destined for landfill or incineration.
On the other hand, disposable textile waste from the healthcare sector has increased due to the Covid-19 health emergency. This waste is not currently recycled either (it is treated as general waste and incinerated), but it is potentially reusable.
We are dedicated to the management of the entire value chain from textile industrial waste to the final product: B-One, 100% recycled plastic.
